The dedication and team spirit demonstrated by the rowers of Pacific West Dragon Boat Club is certainly something to be lauded.
At the 16th IDBF World Dragon Boat Racing Championships held from 7 to 13 August 2023 in Pattaya, Thailand, our humble but no less mighty recreational team was pitted against national teams from around the globe. Still, the team displayed true sportsmanship and put their best paddle forward, cinching the fifth spot in the open 2000 final race.
