Pacific West Dragon Boat Club made a triumphant return!

Pacific West Dragon Boat Club made a return after a two-year hiatus due to the Covid-19 pandemic. The team has made Pacific West proud again when they emerged as champion under DB 12 Men Team 200M category at the Royal Town Dragon Boat Carnival 2022 at Kuala Kangsar, Perak.

A total of 12 teams participated in the race. The team made it to the final and raced against Penang Forward Sports Club.

Pacific West team clocked 1:13.13s to finish top in the 200m final race which is the best time record of the race.

Coach and Team Manager Lawrence said this race is a good opportunity to get the rowers back to routine and to expose the experience of a real race to the new rowers after 2 years lapse.
