In late November, the government ordered that all foreign workers in Malaysia must undergo mandatory Covid-19 screening at the start of 2021.
We recently did just that but it was not without its hurdles. Because designated quarantine centers are currently grossly overwhelmed and under capacity, the authorities have now handed the responsibility over to the employer - this means allocating a separate space for quarantining any positive cases and their subsequent close contacts, catering to their everyday needs, all while monitoring their health conditions?
Thankfully, or should I say, thankFOOlly (Ms Foo has not rest since), all have tested negative.
Kudos to the Covid-19 committee who have been diligently monitoring the day-to-day situation and acting accordingly for all our safety since the start of the pandemic. We have you to thank!
